WATERLOO YOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL

Waterloo Youth Baseball and Softball Association (WYBSA) is a local nonprofit youth baseball and softball association comprised of players from Atwater and Randolph townships (Waterloo Local School District) in Portage County, Ohio.  Our rec ball organization relies on volunteers from within the community, and on financial donations, support & sponsorships from businesses throughout the area and region.

Our primary focus is recreational sign ups and league play for both the spring and fall seasons.  Our baseball teams participate in Neobaseball, LTD. - Northeast Ohio Youth Baseball League, and our softball participate in Neosoftball, LTD. - Northeast Ohio Youth Softball League.

BOARD POSITIONS

WYBSA board positions up for election in 2024 are President (2yr term), Treasurer (2 yr), Baseball Commissioner (2yr), and Softball Commissioner (2 yr).

WYBSA board positions up for election in 2025 are VP (2yr), Secretary (2 yr), Baseball Commissioner (2yr), Softball Commissioner (2 yr), and Equipment Manager (2yr).

 

Please contact our current board member if you are interested in running or if you would like to learn more about a position. If applicable, voting for contested positions will take place at the recognition/trophy night event after regular season.



COVID-19 UPDATE (Posted 8/23/20): 

All coaches, participants, spectators, umpires, concessions, venues, etc.  are required to adhere to all of the most current RestartOhio mandates for baseball/softball. The state's restrictions were last updated 8/20/20.  The updated mandates can be found at Responsible RestartOhio Sector Sprecific - Sports Leagues site.

All coaches, participants, spectators, umpires, concessions, venues, etc.  are required to adhere to all of the most current RestartOhio mandates for baseball/softball. The state's restrictions were last updated 5/22/20.  Coaches & participants should have face coverings available should a situation  arise where they would be needed.  Additional provisions should be implemented by the team managers during practices & games to ensure the restrictions are strictly followed.
